Dental Composite Resin Fillings

Composite Resin Fillings
are the white fillings most dentists now are equipped and trained to place.  These fillings work with chemical bonding to the internal structure of the tooth called ‘Dentin’.  It is also possible to bond to the ‘Enamel’ of the teeth.  The newest generation of these fillings have improved lifespan, strength, and over-all esthetics.  As such, they are the only type of fillings offered in our office.

In addition to standard fillings, dental composites can be used for:

  • Filling gaps (diastemas) between teeth using a shell-like veneer
  • Minor reshaping of teeth
  • Partial crowns on single teeth
